Avril Lavigne not sexy enough to ban

Avril Lavigne will be allowed to play a scheduled concert in Malaysia after the Malaysian government have deemed her not sexy enough to worry about!
Last week, Malaysia's Islamic opposition party was lobbying for Avril to be banned from playing a gig in capital Kuala Lumpur because her routines and material were deemed to be a bad influence on young people.
Avril told MTV: "I've actually been approved by the government to play a show. I've already sold 10,000 tickets there, so I will be going to put on a concert for the fans."
She said: "They tend to sometimes not want Western artists in their country. I respect that, but at the same time there's people that listen to music there and want to see their idols."
Lavigne must follow strict clothing rules as Malaysian law requires all performers to be covered from chest to knees.
Lavigne's Kuala Lumpur gig will take place at the Stadium Merdeke on August 29.
