Cascada are back - and how we've missed them.
After the surprise success of last year's 'Everytime We Touch', the German Euro-dance trio are back with the third single from their album, Perfect Day.
Cascada are not innovators. They will never headline Fabric. Admittedly, you will still see a lot of people gurning along to 'Because The Night' - it'll just be in the gym. Patti Smith and Bruce Springsteen, who co-wrote the song back in 1978, must be so proud.
This version takes up three of the most banal minutes you could wish to be deprived of, full as it is with flatulent bass, "Hungry Hippos" claps, soulless trance synths and Natalie Horler's uninspired delivery.
But then, who are we to judge? After the success of Basshunter in recent weeks, it's clear that the UK's hunger for Eurodance is insatiable. This could be just the tune to tide them over until the Swede releases his next single.
