Bafta celebrates 65th birthday
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts is 65 today - and here at Orange Wednesdays & Film, we're delighted to wish them a happy birthday!
Orange celebrated its 15th year of partnership with Bafta in 2012, as The Artist cleaned up at this year's Film Awards, taking home seven gongs.
This year's Bafta Film Awards also saw Adam Deacon become the seventh winner of the Orange Rising Star award, with the Anuvahood star and director charming the public in 2012.
It's also a Bafta birthday summer, as the Academy is 65 years old, BAFTA in Los Angeles is 25 and BAFTA Cymru turns 21. We're raising a glass to their past 12 months in this interactive timeline.
