Gary Oldman, Malin Akerman and Milo Ventimiglia have joined the cast of the independent gangster film Criminal Empire for Dummys.
The movie will mark the feature film directing debut of Cliff Dorfman, who has also written the script.
Michael Clarke Duncan and Harvey Keitel are also attached to the project.
The movie follows a charismatic young man (Ventimiglia) who relates the story of running a criminal empire through flashbacks - charting his own rise from a childhood in the ghetto to leading a multinational drug and criminal organisation.
Shooting is due to start later this month in New Orleans, Variety reports.
