Russell Brand-voiced family adventure Hop has repeated its Stateside success by topping the UK box office on its first weekend of release.
The live-action/animation hybrid fought off stiff competition from director Duncan Jones' sophomore effort Source Code to secure the top spot, grossing £1.39m. Last week's No.1 Limitless fell to third position, still ahead of the heavily-publicised Sucker Punch, which debuted at a disappointing No.4 following highly negative reviews.
Johnny Depp's hit animation Rango continues to hover around the Top 10, slipping three places to No.7. Meanwhile, Liam Neeson's Unknown finally slips out of the Top 5 after five weeks on release.
