Watch Sam Mendes' first Skyfall blog
We've had the grand press conference and two 'first' official images and now director Sam Mendes has chosen to keep Bond fans up to date with progress on Skyfall by posting a short video blog.
The clip, available to watch above or at 007.com, sees the Oscar-winning director discussing his long-standing love of the James Bond franchise and his surprise at the excellence of Daniel Craig's performance in Casino Royale.
While the video doesn't include any footage from Skyfall, there's plenty of on-set scenery - mainly Mendes pointing at things, or shouting 'action'... - as well as a short look at Craig prowling with a pistol, in full Bond mode.
Skyfall, directed by Mendes and starring Craig, Dame Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem is due for release on 26 October 2012 - click here to see our our gallery of on-set pictures
