Samuel L. Jackson signs up for Robocop
Samuel L. Jackson is set to swap superheroes for crime-fighting sci-fi action in the upcoming Robocop reboot.
The Avengers star has signed up for a role in the new version of the 1987 blockbuster which will star The Killing's Joel Kinnaman in the title role.
Jackson will play media mogul Pat Novak, who is described as "a powerful force in the Robocop world", according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Gary Oldman has also been cast as Robocop's creator. The movie is due for release next summer.
