Toy Story 3: The Videogame also went straight to number one on the UK All Formats Chart after its first full week of sales.
Hamleys and Woolworths are now predicting that the Jetpack Buzz Lightyear toy will top their Christmas best-sellers, while most Disney Stores have sold out of the Lotso Bear Plush toy.
The film is now on course to surpass Pirates of the Caribbean 2 (£52.5m) to become the Disney's biggest film of all time in the UK.
