Most prolific defender in Prem

The answer is Leighton Baines. The Everton full-back has scored 10 Premier League goals since August 2010, more than any other out-and-out defender in the division. His tally so far in the present campaign is one, scored in Everton's 2-2 draw with Newcastle. And to think that it took Baines 57 competitive games for him to score his first goal for the Toffees. That was in a 2-1 defeat at Portsmouth on 21 March 2009, since when he's really found his shooting boots.
