Katy Perry reveals secret of success

Katy Perry has revealed what she believes is the secret of her success.
The Californian singer-songwriter has dominated charts in her native US and her new single, 'I Kissed A Girl', has rocketed up the UK singles chart.
She told the Daily Star: "I saw a void in the music industry for a movement of female artists that were unapologetic, had something to say, were a bit rock'n'roll and a bit pop.
Perry also said that she feels she is a breath of fresh air to people as nobody has been doing what she's doing since the '90s.
She explained: "It wasn't contrived rock, where I just put on a studded belt. That's bull. I mean, there was Shirley Manson, Alanis Morrisette and The Cranberries - but that was all in the '90s."
