Following their recent all-conquering shows in London, Kings Of Leon are releasing what feels like the squillionth single from Only By The Night. And boy, it's a belter. 'Notion' is the kind of 3-minute, no-nonsense bluesy anthem we've come to expect from Nashville's favourite sons.

OK, so we still can't make out what the hell Caleb's actually singing about, but when his whisky-soaked vocals crack over the sort of guitar lines that would make Brian May blush, we're definitely approaching 'Sex On Fire' levels of musical nirvana.

The only question is where to next for the Followills' world domination? A specially-erected statue in Piccadilly Circus? Commemorative coins? Their own island shaped in the image of Jared?

Who knows? But one thing's for sure - Kings Of Leon just get better and better.
