Lady GaGa pitches in for Orange RockCorps

Lady GaGa lent a hand to those in need this week when she joined an Orange RockCorps project in Manchester on Tuesday (30 June).
The eccentric songstress made a surprise visit to the Body Positive project in the city, mucking in with 48 volunteers to create murals in the yard of the centre, which offers support to people living with HIV and AIDs.
GaGa told us: "I've been doing volunteer work since I was two.
"When I can, I do everything I can for those in need. When I was in school in New York I did 60 hours a year of volunteering with young people hungry for a life in theatre."
The kind-hearted types who joined GaGa at the event will receive money-can't-buy tickets to the Orange RockCorps gig at the Manchester Apollo on 13 July, starring the lady herself alongside The Enemy and fellow Orange RockCorps helpers N-Dubz.
Details of an additional gig at London's Royal Albert Hall on 26 September will be revealed shortly, so be sure to check back here.
Last year, 5,000 young people in the UK took part in Orange RockCorps, earning tickets to see Busta Rhymes, Ludacris, The Automatic, John Legend, Feeder, Lethal Bizzle and Guillemots perform at the Royal Albert Hall.
