Oasis and The Killers have been announced as headliners of this summer's V Festival.

Other bands announced to play the bash include Razorlight, Keane, Lily Allen, MGMT and The Ting Tings.

As with previous years, V Festival will take place on two sites: one in Chelmsford, and one in Staffordshire.

A revolving bill of bands will perform at both sites from 22 and 23 August.

At the time of writing, the following artists have been scheduled to perform at V Festival 2009:
