Michael Jackson won't be buried at Neverland

Michael Jackson's family have released a statement insisting that the singer's body will not be laid to rest at his former home, Neverland.
Reports published yesterday (1 July) claimed that the 'Thriller' star would be buried at the theme park-embellished property where he lived until 2005.
Many fans have already travelled to the venue in California, believing that they would be able to view the remains of the 50-year-old who passed away last week (25 June) following a cardiac arrest.
However, the Jackson family's statement denies the claims. It reads: "Contrary to previous news reports, the Jackson family is officially stating that there will be no public or private viewing at Neverland.
"Plans are underway regarding a public memorial for Michael Jackson and we will announce those plans shortly."
It is believed that plans to get an exemption from the local authorities to hold the burial on private property couldn't be completed in time.
