The singer returns with a new video, single and album

If the enormous reaction to Ellie Goulding's free download and collaboration with Tinie Tempah, Hanging On, is anything to go by, then the lead single from her upcoming album, Halcyon, is going to cause a bit of a buzz.

The video sees Ellie swathed in white, lying on a surreal and dream-like beach surrounded by metallic floating balls. Her quirky and wispy voice is backed by a relentless drum beat which is then interspersed by instrumental onslaughts of full-on electronica.

It's refreshing, unique and feels good to have Ellie back on the scene.

Anything Could Happen is due for release on 30 September, shortly followed by the release of her new album on 8 October.
