The Saturdays' Rochelle announces pregnancy

The singer shares the happy news on Twitter

The Saturdays star Rochelle Humes has announced her pregnancy on Twitter.

The singer, who is married to JLS' Marvin Humes, took to Twitter to publicly announce they are expecting their first child.

Taking to the micro-blogging site, Rochelle wrote: "I wanted to be the first to tell youwe have some exciting news to share! Marvin and I could NOT be more thrilled to announce that we are expecting our first child mid next year."

She continued: "We have always dreamt of being parents and the news is the best early Christmas present we could have asked for.

"I know Marvin is going to be a great dad and we're so excited to start a family."

Whilst were happily surprised by the news, were not necessarily shocked, as the writing has been on the wall pretty much throughout 2012.

Back in March this year, Marvin told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Absolutely, we want to have kids. I want to have a football team."

Then more recently, only last month, he revealed to LOOK magazine: "I'm so excited about becoming a dad, I can't wait. We're both keen to have a big family."

Marvin also revealed that Rochelles band mate Una who juggles both being a popstar and a mum to her baby Aoife was a big inspiration to them, showing that babies were compatible with their busy celebrity lives.

He continued: "Una has got Aoife so it shows it can work when you're in a band. Hopefully I'll be a dad by the time I'm 30 in three years, or maybe two."

Well, hes only 27, so it looks as though hell be a dad well before celebrating his thirtieth.

Congratulations from all of us at Monkey from Orange!
