NASA want rapper to produce track for space mission
will.i.am has become famous around the world, but is he about to go intergalatic?
According to The Sun, The Voice judge has been approached by NASA to produce a song to be played on a space mission to Mars.
A source told the paper: "Will has a natural affiliation with NASA and even name checked them on his single T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever). Hes always keen to get involved in their projects and this was an opportunity he couldnt turn down.
"NASA feel Will is the ideal figure to appeal to a mainstream audience and promote their technologies.
Fortunately, it won't just be men in lab coats and little green men on Mars who get to hear the track.
It is thought the tune could feature as a bonus track on his forthcoming album, #willpower.
