Coldplay set for Simpsons cameo

Coldplay will appear on the new series of The Simpsons, it has been revealed.
Frontman Chris Martin will provide the voice for his animated counterpart when the band guest star as entertainment at Bart and Homer's private gig - arranged after the pair win the lottery.
Executive producer Al Jean has reportedly confirmed that the band are forced to halt their performance when Bart goes to the bathroom.
Season 21 of The Simpsons is scheduled to air later this year.
Coldplay's cameo sees them join the hallowed ranks of previous contributors from the world of music, including Aerosmith, Ringo Starr, Sting, Spinal Tap, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Ramones, Paul McCartney, Smashing Pumpkins, Cypress Hill, Sonic Youth, U2, REM, Blink 182, 'N Sync, The Rolling Stones, Metallica, Michael Jackson, 50 Cent, The White Stripes and Green Day.
