Matt Cardle holds on to No.1

Matt Cardle

It just keeps getting better for our most recent X Factor winner Matt Cardle. Having already claimed what will be Christmas No.1 this week, the champ has so dodged the anti-X Factor backlash and looks set to hold on the coveted No.1 position for another week.

Edging in right behind him is some fierce competition in the form of Katy B and Ms. Dynamite who have illuminated the charts with their storming 'Lights On' which has gone straight in at No.2. But will their girl power be enough to knock Matt Cardle from the top come Sunday?

Rihanna and Drake have fallen a place to No.3  with 'What's My Name?', meanwhile Black Eyed Peas and Ellie Goulding remain at No.5 and No.6 respectively with 'The Time (The Dirty Bit)' and 'Your Song'.

A surprising new entry into the Top 20 this week, Ben and Jamie Hazelby have made it to No.11 with their charitable song 'Lonely Sky', a tribute their late mother which also features Chris de Burgh.

Tinie Tempah's collaboration with Kelly Rowland 'Invincible' is also making it's way up the chart, climbing from No.32 to No.18 despite not getting officially released until Monday. Watch this space!
