24 Filming In London: First Set Photos
Jack Bauer has been spotted on the streets of London as filming on the new series of 24 begins.
A bloodied and beaten-looking Kiefer Sutherland was filming a car crash scene on a street near Aldgate in east London.
The long-awaited series, called Live Another Day, was announced last year and is due to air on Sky 1 HD in May.
It follows the counter-terrorism expert on the run in the capital and will feature some familiar faces.
Mary Lynn Rajskub, Kim Raver and William Devane are back after appearing in the original series.
Rajskub, who plays Chloe O'Brian, was seen in filming the scene with Sutherland where a car with a Union Jack on its side was upside-down and on fire.
Photos showed Jack helping Chloe away from the area with both appearing to be injured.
The show will retain the real-time format with split screens and interwoven storylines. It picks up four years after the events of the last series with Bauer now a fugitive being hunted by the CIA.
A potential 24 movie has also been hinted at.
"If this ends up rebooting the show or causing a film to be made, so be it," said Sutherland.
"The film is sort of an ongoing situation."
