Star Wars 3D: Release Of Prequels Postponed

The scheduled 3D releases of Star Wars: Episode II - Attack Of The Clones and Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith this autumn have been postponed, Lucasfilm has confirmed.
In a statement, the production company said it would be focusing its efforts instead on the making of Star Wars: Episode VII.
The announcement comes after the Walt Disney Co confirmed on Friday that JJ Abrams - the creator of the TV series Lost - will direct the seventh instalment of the Star Wars franchise, set for release in 2014.
Disney bought Lucasfilm in December for $4.06bn (£2.6bn).
Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace was released in 3D last February.
The original Star Wars prequels were released from 1999 to 2005.
