Adele plans to keep baby's name a secret

Singer Adele is deliberately keeping her baby's name a secret because she is convinced the news is too "personal" to share.

The soul star and her boyfriend Simon Konecki welcomed their first child together in October but the Grammy-winner has remained tight-lipped about the details and refused to reveal what she has called her little boy.

Adele returned to the spotlight at the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday to pick up the Best Original Song trophy for her Bond theme tune Skyfall, and during the event, she described her experiences as a new mum.

However, the Rolling In The Deep hitmaker insists her son's name will remain a secret.

Adele tells People.com, "I am exhausted, that's how motherhood changed me. I have eczema from boiling bottles... I am not sharing his name at the moment. It is very personal to me. I am enjoying him on my own."

The singer has reportedly been keeping the name quiet by refusing to register his birth and faces a fine if she does not fill in the official paperwork.
