Alec Baldwin in the clear over photographer incident

Alec Baldwin is to avoid prosecution over his clash with a photographer earlier this year after officials in New York reportedly dropped their investigation.
The 30 Rock star scuffled with New York Daily News snapper Marcus Santos outside a Big Apple courthouse on 19 June, shortly after the actor obtained a marriage licence for his wedding to Hilaria Thomas.
Santos filed an official complaint with police, alleging Baldwin punched him on the chin, but the case has now been dropped by prosecutors, according to the New York Post.
A source tells the newspaper, "No charges will be brought. The matter has been dropped entirely. His (Baldwin's) conduct did not rise to the level of a crime."
