Argos axes Justin Bieber clothing over fire hazard fears

Items of clothing featuring Justin Bieber's image have been taken off sale at Argos over health and safety concerns.

Bosses at the store have decided to shelve a line of pink and grey nightdresses which have a snap of the teen heartthrob on the front over fears they could easily catch fire.

A statement from a spokesperson reads, "Argos has stringent Quality Assurance checks in place which identified that the nightshirts do not comply with the flammability requirements of the Nightwear Safety Regulations.

"Argos has issued safety notices in all of its stores asking customers to stop using the product immediately and return it to their nearest Argos store for a full refund."
