Ashley Greene's dog dies as fire destroys Los Angeles home

Twilight star Ashley Greene's dog has died after a fire destroyed her condo in a historic West Hollywood landmark.

Firefighters were called to her third storey Granville Towers pad on Friday morning and were still investigating the cause of the blaze when WENN went to press.

Reports suggest one of Greene's two pooches died at the scene, while the other suffered injuries and has been taken to a vet for treatment. Three people were also treated for injuries as a result of the fire.

The actress is not believed to have been at home when the flames broke out, but her brother and an assistant were spotted entering and exiting the building on Friday, according to TMZ.com.
