Axed Doherty gig fuels rehab rumour

Rocker Pete Doherty has sparked rumours he's checked into rehab early after cancelling a concert.

The Libertines frontman was booked to play a show in Somerset on Wednesday but the gig was axed on Tuesday.

No reason was given for the cancellation, but it sparked fears the musician, who has battled a drug addiction for almost 10 years, has checked into a clinic after he revealed last week he was due to receive treatment later this month.
