Barlow to be Miranda's new Gary

Gary Barlow is set to show off his acting skills with a cameo role in MIRANDA.

The Take That singer will play a love interest for comedienne Miranda Hart, and has already visited the set to shoot his scenes.

Barlow's character will fend off the advances of hapless Miranda, whose longrunning love interest in the show is also called Gary, as well as her onscreen mum in the episode, due to air next month.

A source tells The Sun, "He has already filmed his scenes. The cast were thrilled he took part."
