Beyonce recruited for President Obama's re-election campaign

U.S. President Barack Obama is cashing in on his wife Michelle's friendship with Beyonce by utilising a letter of support from the singer in his upcoming election campaign.
The Crazy in Love hitmaker penned a handwritten note to the First Lady earlier this year, praising her role model status and backing her anti-childhood obesity campaign.
Now the president is to use a video of Beyonce explaining why she wrote the letter in his campaign for re-election when the U.S. goes to the polls in November.
In the video clip, posted online, Beyonce says, "I wrote a letter to the First Lady because I wanted her to know that I am very grateful for everything she has done for our country... She is a caring mother, she's a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the First Lady."
