Bieber and Gomez smooch at basketball game

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez thrilled onlookers at a basketball game in Los Angeles on Tuesday by smooching for the venue's "kiss-cam".

The young couple was watching the Los Angeles Lakers' home game against the San Antonio Spurs at the Staples Center when a camera turned on them during a romantic interlude.

Gomez appeared shy at first and buried her head in her boyfriend's shoulder, but Bieber grinned and the pair then puckered up for a sweet moment.

The kiss appeared to be lucky for Spurs fan Gomez - the team went on to win the game 112-91.

Prior to the match, she had tweeted, "LET'S GO SPURS!!! LET'S GO!!"
