Bieber's Private Jet 'Searched For Drugs'
Pop star Justin Bieber's private jet has been reportedly searched for drugs after landing in New Jersey.
The controversial singer, who is due to attend Sunday night's Super Bowl in the state, touched down at Teterboro Airport on Friday.
Reports say authorities were responding to the smell of marijuana in the plane.
Local news helicopters filmed what appeared to be law enforcement officers searching a plane, which is believed to have been leased by the Canadian star.
Bieber arrived in the US from Canada after being arrested twice in one week.
He was charged with assault in Toronto after he allegedly hit a limo driver during a visit in December.
A few days earlier Bieber was arrested for drunk driving and resisting arrest without violence in Miami, Florida.
It has since emerged that a South Florida officer is under investigation for trying to take a photograph of Bieber while he was in custody in Florida.
Police say the female officer attempted to photograph Bieber while he was in a holding cell, and a higher-ranking officer intervened.
