Bob Geldof dislikes grandson's name
Bob Geldof has pleaded with his daughter Peaches to change her newborn son's name, because he fears his first grandchild will get bullied at school.
The socialite gave birth to a son by fiance Tom Cohen earlier this month and decided to give the tot the unusual name, Astala.
And despite giving his daughters strange monikers, Geldof admits he hates his grandson's name.
He tells The Sun, "Yuck! I've actually been begging them to change it. What's he going to be called in school? A**? Stella? It's a girl's name, let's face it."
But the singer is thrilled to have a boy in the family after bringing up four daughters.
He adds, "I've swam in oestrogen my entire life, and now finally a little chap comes along. It's great."
Geldof is father to Peaches, Fifi Trixibelle, Pixie and adopted daughter Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily.

He (Geldof) could have kept his kids away from the media bubble and protect them, but chose to let them live out their quite shallow lives in the public glare, now he complains in the media over this, very sad and quite pathetic really, you reap what you sow.

"Ast" is the Welsh for "b*tch" and I can't see beyond that, really, at a glance. As for being bullied at school, I expect he will be packed off to study alongside Crispins, Tarquins and Persephones and so will probably fit in fine in terms of his name. If his mum continues being the media pimple she has become, then that will probably be the cause of any bullying I think. Not many boys want to read about their parents' sexploits or see them sprawled naked across pages, tatts and baps out!

Thant's rich, after Fifi, Peaches and Pixie, pity he didn't think about them being bullied at school, it's none of his business what she calls her child he should mind his own business even if it is a stupid name, sounds like ASTALAvista baby !!

Er Bob if you read the last line of this article (I know Michael was Tiger Lilly's father) it sounds like kettle, pot black - you allowed your daughters to have odd names!
