Boy George slams Liam Payne for snubbing his niece

Pop icon Boy George has taken aim at One Direction star Liam Payne for seemingly snubbing his niece at the BRIT Awards on Wednesday.

The Culture Club frontman took his young relative Molly Fitzpatrick to the music prizegiving at London's O2 Arena, and the youngster was delighted to be in the company of her boyband idols.

One Direction stars Harry Styles and Niall Horan met with Fitzpatrick, but Boy George has blasted their bandmate Payne for apparently ignoring her.

In a series of posts on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "Niall from One Direction come (sic) to table 146 and (met my) niece...

"Top marks to Harry Styles for stopping for a picture with my niece and bollox's (sic) to Liam and the disrespectful w**ker of a minder!"
