Brian McFadden records duets with Irish stars

Former Westlife star Brian Mcfadden has teamed up with fellow Irish singers Ronan Keating and Sinead O'Connor to record tracks for his new album.

McFadden is celebrating his heritage with his latest solo record The Irish Connection, which is due for release in March.

The album features covers of songs by a number of famous local acts, including Northern Irish rockers Snow Patrol and the Cranberries, as well as duets with Keating and O'Connor.

McFadden says, "This album is something I have wanted to do for a long time. Ireland has produced some of the greatest songs in history and I decided I would put my own twist on a collection of my favourite ever Irish songs."
