Britain's Got Talent wannabe hospitalised after fall

A Britain's Got Talent hopeful ended up in hospital after a trampoline stunt went wrong.

Judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon headed to Birmingham at the end of last week for the final part of auditions for this year's series.

Air Gravity, a gymnastic group from Northamptonshire, turned up to show off their talent - but one member ended up needing medical attention.

The act - which came second on ITV's Let's Get Gold last year - leaped daringly between trampolines, but one male in the group mistimed a flip and came crashing down.

Show medics sent him to hospital, where he received treatment for a dislocated shoulder, according to The Sun.

A source tells the publication, "The act was going well and everyone seemed to be enjoying it. They were different to some of the stuff that's been on the show before.

"But, towards the end of the act, one guy bounced from one trampoline to another and grimaced with pain when he landed."

Despite the accident, Walliams was impressed with the talent he saw in the city.

In a post on his Twitter.com page on Sunday, he wrote, "The BGT 2013 audition tour is over. Today in Birmingham we witnessed the birth of a star."
