British Soldier Missing In French Ski Resort

A British soldier has gone missing at a French ski resort after a night out with friends, police have confirmed.

The 27-year-old was last seen on Tuesday when he spent the evening in a nightclub with two friends.

He drank some alcohol but not an excessive amount, according to a police source.

The soldier did not return to his lodgings in the nearby village of Venosc.

Helicopter searches have been launched to find him.
