Britney Spears and Demi Lovato join Cowell at Fox upfronts
Britney Spears and Demi Lovato have been officially unveiled as the new judges of TV talent show The X Factor.
The Toxic superstar and singer/actress Lovato joined existing judges Simon Cowell and music mogul Antonio 'L.A.' Reid at the Fox network's upfront event in New York on Monday for the big announcement.
Spears sent out a photo of the foursome via her Twitter.com page, with the simple caption: "#britneyxfactor #SimonBritneyDemiLA".
And series creator Cowell was delighted to finally share the news after weeks of speculation about his new judges.
He tweeted, "Can't believe it's finally happened. Very exciting!"
The singers replace ousted judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul.
The second season of America's The X Factor will kick off later this year.

So, be a druggie, an alcoholic, be unfit to be a mother to your children, drink drive, are these the criteria to gain a place and be paid millions of pounds to be a JUDGE on the X Factor ? Disgraceful, what is Simon Cowell thinking - unless he is hoping for, or already has made another conquest. What sort of message does this give out, am seriously unimpressed.
