Bruce Willis convinced acting helped him overcome stutter

Bruce Willis has credited acting with helping him overcome the severe speech impediment he struggled with as a child.
The Hollywood action star reveals he had serious trouble getting his words out during his youth and it wasn't until he tried his hand at acting that he noticed a big difference.
He tells GQ magazine, "The Cub Scout years, I had a terrible stutter. I thought I was handicapped. I couldn't talk at all. I still stutter around some people now.
"But then I did some theater somewhere, probably in high school. And when I memorised words, I didn't stutter, which was just miraculous."
