Burt Reynolds Admitted To Intensive Care
Veteran actor Burt Reynolds is in intensive care in Florida where he is being treated for a severe case of flu.
The 76-year-old is believed to have been "severely dehydrated" when he was admitted.
His representative Erik Kritzer declined to say which hospital the Boogie Nights actor was in, telling CNN: "He would like that (kept) private.
"He is doing better at this time. We expect as soon as he gets more fluids, he will be back in a regular room."
The Hollywood star, famous for his roles in Smokey And The Bandit and Deliverance, underwent a quintuple heart bypass in 2010.
He has also spent time in rehab when he was treated for an addiction to prescription drugs.
There has been an outbreak of flu across the US with it reaching epidemic levels in some states.
