Caroline Flack and Olly Murs sign up for more Xtra Factor

Caroline Flack and Olly Murs are set to be reunited on the next series of The Xtra Factor.

The pair became one of the most sought after double acts on TV after presenting The X Factor spin-off, but it was rumoured Murs wouldn't return in 2012 as the filming schedule clashes with his U.S. tour.

However, the singer has now confirmed he and his 'TV wife' Flack have signed up to host another series of the behind-the-scenes sister show.

Flack will set off on the audition tour alone while Murs performs Stateside, and they'll team up for the live shows in the autumn.

Murs says, "I can't wait to get back to The Xtra Factor this year, especially now my partner in crime Caroline is confirmed to be joining me. I know it's going to be a great year and we'll be grilling the judges and contestants more than ever before."

Flack adds, "I had a fantastic time on The Xtra Factor last year with my TV husband Olly, so I can't wait to get started on the show again. Even though Olly and I won't be reunited in person until the live shows, we will be together all the way in spirit. He's bound to be calling me mid-interview to check what has been happening on the judges' tour to ensure he doesn't miss out on any crucial gossip!"

The X Factor and The Xtra Factor will be back on screens this summer.
