CBGB movie lands Dead Boys star

Dead Boys guitarist Cheetah Chrome has landed a cameo as himself in the new star-studded Cbgb biopic.

He joins actor Donal Logue as new additions to the cast. Logue will portray New York club boss Hilly Kristal's sidekick Merv Ferguson.

Alan Rickman will play Kristal in the film, which will also feature Ashley Greene, Johnny Galecki, Justin Bartha, Rupert Grint and Malin Akerman, who will portray Blondie singer Debbie Harry.
