Channel 5 scraps OK! TV

Channel 5 bosses have axed celebrity news show Ok! Tv after just nine months.
The show got off to a rocky start when it was launched earlier this year with presenter Denise Van Outen dropping out at the last minute. She was replaced by Kate Walsh, who had fronted the show's axed predecessor Live from Studio Five.
Jenny Frost and Jeff Brazier were brought in over the summer in a bid to boost ratings, but the teatime slot has failed to pull in viewers and has now been scrapped.
The show will remain on screens until Christmas.
Frost writes on her Twitter.com page, "Hi guys, It's sad Oktv won't be back after Xmas but we've still got loads of fun to have between now & then!! The best team in the world!!!"
While Brazier adds, "Sad news @OKTVOfficial is at an end but great we got a months extension to see us on air until christmas. One door closes another one opens!"
