Charlotte Church's boozy session left Michael Douglas fuming

Charlotte Church infuriated Hollywood legend Michael Douglas by partying wildly with his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones hours after he lost in a celebrity golf match.

The A-list couple met the singer at a star-studded sporting event but Douglas was in a bad mood after seeing his team of fellow Americans lose to its rivals.

Instead of consoling him over the defeat, Zeta-Jones hit the booze with former child star Church - and angry Douglas was so disgusted with them, he went to bed.

Church tells Graham Norton, "I met both of them at a celebrity golf tournament and me and Catherine started drinking and got reasonably merry and she was awesome. We were singing and having a great time and Michael was really p**sed off because he took his golf really seriously and the American team lost.

"He was fuming and went to bed early and he wasn't having any of it. He may have been a little bit angry at me I might imagine."
