Cheryl Cole: 'Ashley didn't apologise for cheating'

Cheryl Cole has revealed her ex-husband Ashley Cole has yet to apologise for cheating on her.

The Girls Aloud star's relationship with the footballer fell apart in 2010 after a string of allegations about his infidelity emerged in the press, prompting Cole to file divorce papers to end their four-year marriage.

In an appearance on Alan Carr: Chatty Man, Cole now insists the sportsman never said sorry for his actions.

When asked if Ashley had ever apologised, she told Carr, "No. Never," before adding, "I think maybe for him that would have been like admitting he was wrong and justified me leaving the marriage, whereas if he didn't say anything he could pretend it wasn't happening."

However, the brunette beauty is more than happy with her new boyfriend Tre Holloway, admitting she was the one who pursued the back-up dancer.

She tells Carr, "I actually met him two years ago. It was me, it was all me. I had to do a little bit of the chasing. I cast a spell. Handsome, isn't he?"

He didn't apologise for cheating as he didn't want to. Neither did he want to stop cheating, so he carried on. Simple logic.
