Chris Tucker in talks for remake of The Intouchables

Rush Hour star Chris Tucker has confirmed he's in talks to star in a remake of hit French film The Intouchables.
The movie has become one of France's most successful exports to the U.S. ever and now Tucker is considering leading the cast of a Hollywood revamp.
Tucker is interested in the role Omar Sy played in the original, telling BlackFilm.com, "I have been talking with them (producers) about doing it. I hope something will come out of it because I really like the movie and they are in the process of getting it together. So there's a possibility that it might happen."
The film follows the exploits of a former criminal who signs on as the unlikely assistant to a wealthy, learned man left crippled after a paragliding accident.
