Cliff Richard apologises after New Zealand gig gaffe

Sir Cliff Richard apologised to fans at a gig in New Zealand this week after he accidentally introduced himself to the wrong city.
The veteran singer was performing a show at the TSB Bank Arena in Wellington on Monday, but he got his cities mixed up and opened the concert by telling the crowd, "Good evening Auckland''.
Richard was greeted with silence from the stunned audience, but continued with the show. However, he later took a break, and when he returned to the stage he addressed his mistake, apologising for the blunder and insisting he did know he was in fact in Wellington, according to New Zealand website Stuff.co.nz.
