Conor Maynard causes hotel chaos with recording sessions

Pop star Conor Maynard angered bosses of a hotel in Scotland during his current tour when he set up a recording studio in his room and performed songs in the middle of the day.

The Can't Say No hitmaker, 19, is playing a series of shows around the country and he used his recent stop in Scotland to fit in some recording sessions on the road.

He set up a temporary studio in his room at Glasgow's Crowne Plaza with his production and writing team, but their work was interrupted by the hotel's security team.

Maynard tells the Daily Record, "The producers behind Can't Say No and Vegas Girl came to my hotel room to do a session with singer/songwriter Ms D. Schedules are so tight and there are not any days off before (an upcoming trip to) America so we've had to do some writing and recording on the road.

"We were blasting songs and trying to get a vibe when there was a knock on the door from hotel security asking us to turn it down... We recorded for two hours from 10.45am - 12.45pm but they still asked us to turn it down."
