Danny Dyer hits back at film flop critics
Danny Dyer has shrugged off criticism of his new movie Run For Your Wife after the film bombed at the box office on its opening weekend, insisting he is "still smiling" despite the flop.
The comedy, which also features Ray Winstone and Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding, was deemed a massive failure after it earned just £602 from ticket sales following its Friday release.
However, Dyer is adamant he knew the low-budget movie was never going to be a chart-topper.
In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "Smug p**cks. FYI (for your information) the film was on 4 screens shown once at 11 in the morning. I always new (sic) it wasn't gonna (sic) be Apocalypse Now. Still smiling."
