Dappy begs fans to leave his accusers alone

Dappy has asked his fans to stop contacting two teenage girls he faced in court, insisting there is "nothing to be gained by sending hate to them".
The former N-Dubz star is facing the possibility of up to three years in jail after he was found guilty last week of affray and assault by beating, stemming from a 2012 altercation at a gas station.
He was cleared of two common assault charges relating to allegations he spat at Serena Burton and Grace Cochran, who both gave evidence against him in court.
The two women, aged 19, have since been bombarded with online abuse from some of Dappy's loyal fans, with Burton revealing, "We have had some horrific messages sent to us."
Dappy has now taken to his Twitter.com page to urge his devotees to end their hate campaign and leave the pair alone.
He writes, "Guys, the girls have had their 15 minutes (of fame). Nuthin (sic) to be gained by sending hate to them. Just ignore and let's move on..."
Dappy, real name Costadinos Contostavlos, will be sentenced next month.
Prosecutors suggested the 25-year-old star sparked the fight by spitting at Burton and Cochran after they labelled him "boring", but he insisted he was victimised "for being famous".
