David Walliams remembers tragic teenager

Funnyman David Walliams has paid tribute to a teenager who lost her battle with cancer on Saturday.

Alice Pyne, 17, hit headlines around the world by blogging about a 'bucket list' of goals she wanted to achieve during her four-year battle with Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Last year, Little Britain star Walliams dressed up as a zookeeper to surprise the youngster during a trip to London Zoo and presented her with an invitation to the Pride of Britain Awards.

After learning brave Pyne had finally succumbed to her illness at the weekend, he posted a photograph of himself and the youngster together at the zoo, alongside the message, "I am so sad about the passing of Alice Pyne, who I met through the Pride of Britain Awards. What a beautiful and courageous girl. I will never forget meeting Alice Pyne."
