Dean Gaffney recovering after car accident

Dean Gaffney is "on the mend" after undergoing emergency surgery following a horrific car crash last month, according to former model Katie Price.
The star, best known for his role on EastEnders, reportedly underwent reconstructive work on his skull after his Mini Cooper vehicle smashed into a steel barrier in Derby on 30 January.
Gaffney has not yet spoken about the accident, but reality TV star Price reveals that her pal is slowly recovering from the smash.
In her colum for BThe Sun newspaper, she writes, "My friend Dean Gaffney has texted me to say he is on the mend after suffering head injuries in a car crash. I'm so relieved to hear it, Dean. Keep well and keep going."
Gaffney had been driving home after performing in a stage production of Agatha Christie's A Murder Is Announced at the Derby Theatre when the accident occurred.
